Chris DeWeese grew up in Port Townsend, Washington, and attended Oberlin College and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His first book of poetry, The Black Forest, was published in 2012 by Octopus Books. His second book, The Father of the Arrow is the Thought, was just released from Octopus Books. His poems have appeared widely in literary journals and magazines including Boston Review, Fence, FIELD, and Tin House. Prior to teaching at Wright State, DeWeese taught at Agnes Scott College, Emory University, and Smith College.
Hannah Sanghee Park is the author of the book The Same-Different, the 2014 winner of The Academy of American Poets Walt Whitman Award. She is the recipient of fellowships and awards from The Fulbright Program, 4Culture, The Iowa Arts Council/National Endowment for the Arts, and the MacDowell Colony. Her work has appeared in various journals and publications, including LVNG, Petri Press, Poetry Northwest, and Best New Poets 2013. Park lives in Los Angeles, where she attends the Writing for Screen & Television Program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
