David Graham was born and raised in Johnstown, New York, and educated at Dartmouth College and the University of Massachusetts. He has served as poetry editor of Blue Moon Review and been Poet in Residence at the Robert Frost Place in Franconia, New Hampshire. His poems have appeared in five other collections: Stutter Monk, Common Waters, Second Wind, Greatest Hits 1975-2000, and Doggedness. With Kate Sontag he is co-editor of the essay anthology After Confession: Poetry as Autobiography. Since 1987, he has taught English at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.
